Jahorina, one of the most beautiful Olympic mountains, belongs to the Dinaric mountain system and is about 30 km long, with branches.

 The highest peak is Ogorjelica with 1,916 m above sea level.
Jahorina is a popular destination for fans of winter sports (alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, ski safari on snowmobiles, ice skating and night skiing). Over 20 km of well-maintained ski slopes that extend from 1,890m to 1,200m above sea level, as well as 8 ski lifts with a total capacity of 7,500 skiers per hour, provide a complete atmosphere for all fans of winter sports.

The winter ski season starts on 15. December  lasts until 15.of April. Jahorina also offers great opportunities for a pleasant and interesting stay at any time of the year, so it is an ideal destination for the preparation of athletes, excursions, recreationists, alpinists and business people.

Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is the nearest major town. There are two ways to get to Jahorina from Sarajevo’s airport. The first one passes through East Sarajevo and is 31 km long, and the other passes through Pale (37 km). The distance from Jahorina to Banja Luka is 210 km, to Ljubljana 540 km, to Podgorica 260 km, to Zagreb 400 km, and to Belgrade 320 km.
