Ski area MATREI - KALS

60 peaks of 3000 m high, including Grossglockner and Grossvenediger, on the Hohe Tauern massif offer you a spectacular view of the Dolomites and the Hohe Tauern National Park. The mentioned area also has a specific microclimate that enables the ski season from November to May. Five catering establishments on this part of the mountain (out of a total of 11 available) offer an idyllic refuge from the cold or simply an opportunity to laze around in a lounger with a view of the mountain peaks. If you take the Kals I cable car to the intermediate station, you have the opportunity to enjoy day or night sledding.
